Jeong’s Diary

The day that I never forget is the day that I was on the school trip on the ship. It was a worst day that I never met. On the ship, I tried my best to keep my student while the ship was sinksing but I couldn’t. I’m so regret. I remember all the action on the ship very well. Start from I finished my phone call with my daughter. After I finished my call, the ship is sinksing. Captain and his colleagues came and tell us that the ship is sinksing, but he said that is not a big problem because we can control it and can fix it. A minute later, the ship get more dangerous and the worker on the ship tell us to lay down and don’t move. The ship isn’t better and then the girl who is in the ship with us start to shouts up:

Girl                              : We need to move to find safe place and find the lifeboat to leave this ship.

Captain’s colleague     : No… You all need to lay down and don’t move. The ship will be Ok soon.

I                                   : Calm down and let the captain fix it.

Girl                              : The ship is worse and worse why don’t we get out and find the lifeboat.

Captain’s colleague     : We know to fix it, so don’t make more trouble on this case.

I                                   : Listen to what he said, girl. We will be fine.

Girl                              : We have no time to move if we don’t move, now.

Captain’s colleague     : Do you try to make more trouble?

Girl                              : No… I don’t, but we need to move now.

A second after this, the ship is collapse to the right a little bit. The captain’s colleagues leave the room which we are stay. That girl starts shout loudly again:

Girl                              : Hurry up! All we need to move and find lifeboat to leave this ship for our life.

Microphone                 : The ship will be fine in less than 10 minutes. We all need to be quiet and don’t move.

Girl                              : Hurry up! All we need to move and find lifeboat to leave this ship for our life. We don’t have more time to move. It’s dangerous now. Hurry up! All we need to move and find lifeboat to leave this ship for our life. We don’t have more time to move. It’s dangerous now. Why don’t you move? No more time to us……………….

But no one move to other place. We just want to follow the command of the captain, because we know that the captain will know clearly why the ship sinks and the way how to fix it. He won’t allow us to reach to the death. If we move so it can make captain hard to control the ship and make more dangerous on this case. We wait captain and his teammates fix the problems and call us to get out with safe.  I look to Kim and I see Kim take his phone and write message at that time. Some of us in the ship are cry out and some talk to the god, so it is made the room annoy. We hope that we can leave this bad situation, but what we face is opposite to what we hope. The ship takes more dangerous and we decide to move, but it’s too late to move. Everything falls down from left to right. The left become the top and the right of the ship become the button and the water start float up. The last wish is I hope everyone in the ship will be safe and no one died. I just leave my sense from that. When I am conscious, I am already in a hospital. The worst information that I received is Kim was dead and my friend (Heun) who was a cleaner on those ship was dead, too. I don’t know it’s my luck or my bad that I can breathe out the dangerous ship, but I lose my clever students and my friends.

I wish they all will be happy in the heaven……………………….

Heun’s Dairy

Cleaner is not a bad job. The bad were referring to cruel people. One morning that is on the day of the school trip which places on the ship, I hear a cruel plan that I don’t want to hear after I clean the bathroom of the ship at the down stair. Captain and his several team members have a plan to make ship to be sinksing. The captain said “We have no choice. If we don’t do this, we can’t escape from that criminal”. One of team member said “You are the one who killed him. Why do we need to respond on this issue with you?”

Captain            : Why do you said like this? You both are the men who catch him and now you said you don’t have anything to involve on this issue?

His teammate  : I don’t know. I think you are kidding so I just keep catch him on that time.

Captain            : Do you want to live in jail? I want to know if you are in jail, how about your family? I know you need more money for your family. If you do it, I will give you money. We don’t have time. Actually, I don’t want to kill him, too. But but… last night… I was drunk and I killed him without purpose. We don’t have any choice. We must do it. It’s only one choice that we can leave from this criminal. His corpse will be in the sea while the ship are sinksing and the polices think that he dies when the ship sinks, so we can out of the jail. On other hand, the ship won’t be heavy sinks to kill other people on the ship. I promise to both of you.

His teammates don’t have any action. I think they agree to do it. After that, I step to leave there but I fall my broom to ground. They come and ask me:

His teammate  : Why were you here?

I                       : I clean the bathroom those place. (With pale face and palpitate body)

Captain            : Catch her to the bottom room and lock the door.

I                       : No… I don’t hear anything. Leave me out…. Please!...

Captain            : Why still you stand? Catch her….

I                       : No… You don’t need to do that.

I just run to the up stair and try to call for help, but I fail down while I’m running. They go ahead and catch me up.

Captain            : You both believe her that she didn’t hear anything?

I                       : I don’t tell anyone about it. Please leave me out.

Captain            : Take her to down stair room.

I                       : Please…! I don’t tell anyone about this! Help me…! Help me………………..

They catch me into the button room of the ship and lock the door. I try and try to break the door to leave, but I can’t get out of this room. I can’t break the door. I just sit down and cry to write my final diary. I know that I will never breathe out of here. The ship will be sinksing and the room which I am in wills be the first room which floats of the water. I miss my sons my daughters and my husband. I want to talk to them. I want to have dinner with them. I want to tell them that I’m afraid, now. I want them to close to me, now. I can dream to see all of them and their action. I can see their smile, their laugh and I hear them call me be-loved mom and wife.

I can hear the ship sinks, now………………….

When my father and I reach home, I said the sentence like before “I’m coming home”, but my wonder is my mom didn’t come out to hold and kiss me. I was so nervous and I ask loudly: 

I                       : Mom, are you home? (I push the door to come in and I….)

My mother      : Happy birthday to you…! Happy birthday to you…! Happy birthday to you…! You are older than before one year, Kim.

I’m very happy and surprise. I’m so delight when I see she carry a birthday cake and a big robot and give it to me and she said:

My mother       : Here is the big robot that you want, Kim.

I                       : Thank mom, I love you.

My father         : Here is my present to you, Kim.

I                       : What is in? Could I open it?

My father         : Yes, it yours. You can open it, Kim.

I                       : Wow! Thank you dad, I love you so much.

Do you know my father buy me a PS3? I’m so very happy with my be-loved parents. I know that they love me so much. Therefore, I’ve just been kidding that my mom pretends to love me. Actually, I know that she love me and want me to be a good boy like my father did. I will remember this day forever. I can see my parent’s smile and sing me a birthday song together. We played birthday cake together and laugh together…

Today is the day I’m going on my school trip. Mom and dad get up early to prepare me some food and clothes. They took me to the school for trip and told me that:

My parents       : Be a good boy and strong boy. Father and Mother love you, Kim.

I                       : I love you both most. Don’t worry I’m a strong and good boy. Good bye!

And then they leave to work. I leave school with my classmates and teacher to the ship, too. On the ship, I’m so happy with my classmate and talk about many stories which relate to the sea, but while we on trip on the ship, the ship sinks and they tell us to lay down and don’t move……….

Kim’s diary

The day after tomorrow is the day that I’m going on my school trip. It’s a trip on the ship. I think it’s very happy and funny because I’m going with my classmates. I never go on trip like this. I mean it’s my first time to have a trip on ship with my classmate. Okay…! Stop to talk about it. Today, I wait my father to pick me up from school to home after I break my class. He is the one who I call my be-love, because he always tell me fantastic stories before I slept and he always tell me to be a strong boy when my mom yell to me. He promises to buy me an ice-cream on today. When I walk with him I ask:

I                       : Father, you promise me that you will buy me an ice-cream on today. Do you forget it?

My father         : Huh? I promise you? Ho!!!! You are good at remember, my son.

I                       : You always like this, dad. Now, do you remember it?

My father         : Yes. Yes, I do.

I                       : I need a big ice-cream. Dad, that ice-cream shop is good. I want ice-cream from that shop.

My father        : Ok… up to you.

My father and I have a great ice-cream together in that shop. Maybe an hour, we leaved that shop and reach to home. I shout to tell my mom that “I’m coming home” and then she went to hold me and kiss me. Actually, I think that she is pretend to love me; because she always yells to me when I’m doing wrong even a little wrong. On dinner, my mom asks me that:

My mother       : What thing do you want to buy if you have money to buy it, Kim?

I                       : I want buy big robot. I will fight against the bad enemy with my robot. I will save the world.

My mother       : and your robot will fight against you, right?

I                       : No…! Why does my robot fight against me?

My mother       : Because, you are a bad boy. You always keep your toys everywhere. You never keep it in place after you played it. You made it dirty and messy everywhere.

I                       : Ohh! No…! Start from now on, I try to keep it in place after I played it. I don’t forget my promise, mom. You don’t need to remind me every time like this. Ok?

My mother       : Ok… I wait and see how good boy you are.

After, finished dinner my parents and I watch a funny program on TV and at last of this day, my dad tell me  a magic ship story to me and then I fall in sleep.

Today, I feel better good because tomorrow I will be on the ship and on my trip with my classmate, too. Could you predict it? I think you can’t because I think it very happy and funny more than your prediction. I just go to school with my father, today. On the way he asks me:

My father         : Kim, Do you want PS3?

I                       : Do you buy me PS3?

My father         : I just ask… it’s nothing.

I                       : I want to play it, but I need you more than it, my dad.

My father         : Ok… I know it, my son. Try to be a good boy and try your best on your study.

He drops me at school and he continues to work. At evening, he is late to pick me up to home, so I ask:

I                       : Why are you so late, today? Are you busy with your work, dad?

My father         : Yes… Are you angry, Kim?

I                       : No, I’m not. I just worry about you, dad?

My father         : Don’t be worry, Kim. I love you so much I will never leave you. Come on…! Let go home, my son.
